Personal Injury and the eye

The eye is made up of very soft tissue. While it has some bone protection from the eye socket, it is still quite vulnerable to serious injury even from a relatively small amount of impact force.

Eye injuries can occur in the following ways:

A corneal abrasion (scratch), chemical burns, hyphema or trauma directly to the eye, and a fractured eye socket (orbital fractures).
